Schedule:  Osaic has returned to the office on a hybrid schedule requiring a minimum of 4 days weekly in the office. Non-remote employees must be willing to work this schedule. Given the regional and travel requirements for this position, Osaic is open to remote applicants for this position.

Salary:           $100,000 - $150,000 per year + Sales Incentive Compensation

Actual compensation offered will be determined individually, based on a number of job-related factors, including location, skills, experience, and education.

Summary:

The Divisional Vice President, Sales Manager is a motivating, results-driven leader with a deep understanding of the life insurance sales process. This individual will manage a team of sales professionals, providing strategic guidance, coaching, and support to help drive advisor engagement, client acquisition, and revenue growth. The ideal candidate will bring experience in building distribution through B2B relationships and supporting independent producers to grow their business. This role is accountable for leading and developing the team, driving performance aligned with company goals and KPIs, and executing a cohesive sales strategy across the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, develop, and manage a team of insurance planning salespeople to achieve pre-defined production and revenue goals across multiple markets
  • Provide ongoing training and coaching on advanced life insurance concepts, product knowledge, and sales techniques
  • Inspire and support team members in achieving their goals while helping them build and maintain strong advisor relationships
  • Conduct regular team meetings to share best practices, address challenges, and communicate company updates and expectations
  • Track and evaluate team performance against strategic goals and KPIs, using data to inform coaching and development
  • Monitor team and individual expenses to maintain budget discipline
  • Support and promote sales initiatives and actively participate in organizational change efforts
  • Foster collaboration across internal departments including Sales Support, Underwriting, Case Management, and Operations to ensure a seamless sales process
  • Drive recruitment and hiring strategies to ensure optimal coverage of key distribution channels (e.g., institutions, RIAs, IBDs), and address coverage gaps as needed

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 15+ years of experience in the life insurance industry
  • Proven success in a sales leadership or management role
  • Experience leading and coaching sales professionals

Basic Requirements:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively
  • Strategic thinker with solid decision-making capabilities
  • Performance management and coaching experience
  • Proficient in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Goal-oriented with a track record of driving results
  • Adaptable and able to lead through change
  • Excellent planning, organization, and relationship management skills

Preferred Requirements:

  • Life & Health Insurance License
  • Series 6 and 63
