Location(s): REMOTE

Schedule:  Osaic has returned to the office on a hybrid schedule requiring a minimum of 4 days weekly in the office. Non-remote employees must be willing to work this schedule. Given the regional and travel requirements for this position, Osaic is open to remote applicants for this position.

Role Type:     Full time

Salary:           $100,000 - $150,000 per year + Sales Incentive Compensation

Actual compensation offered will be determined individually, based on a number of job-related factors, including location, skills, experience, and education.

Summary:

The Divisional VP of Annuity Sales is a dynamic, purposeful leader responsible for managing a team of Advisor Consultants. This role involves providing strategic direction, coaching and support to drive advisor engagement, client acquisition, and revenue growth. The Divisional VP role will have deep annuity product knowledge, strong leadership capabilities and a proven track record of sales success. The Divisional VP will lead performance aligned with KPIs, foster distribution across all Highland sales channels and execute a unified sales strategy to enhance team success.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, develop, mentor, and manage a team of Annuity-focused Advisor Consultants to achieve defined production and revenue goals
  • Provide ongoing training and coaching on annuity products and effective sales techniques to enhance team performance and professional growth
  • Inspire and support team members in reaching their sales objectives while helping them build and maintain strong relationships with financial advisors and key partners
  • Conduct regular team meetings to share best practices, address market challenges, and communicate organizational updates and expectations
  • Track and evaluate team performance, strategic goals and KPIs using data-driven insights to guide coaching and development efforts
  • Monitor team and individual expenses to ensure alignment with budgetary guidelines and financial discipline
  • Support and promote annuity sales initiatives, and actively lead the team through organizational changes and strategic shifts
  • Foster cross-functional collaborations with internal departments such as Sales Support, Product, Operations and Compliance to ensure a seamless and efficient sales process
  • Drive recruitment and hiring strategies to ensure optimal coverage of the distribution channel (i.e., RIAs, IBDs) and proactively address gaps in market coverage.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required

Basic Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience required in the Annuity industry
  • In-depth knowledge of annuities, and their suitability for various clients
  • Familiarity with regulations and compliance requirements
  • Proven success in a sales leadership or management role
  • Experience leading and coaching sales professionals
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively
  • Strategic thinker with solid decision-making capabilities
  • Performance management and coaching experience
  • Proficient in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Goal-oriented with a track record of driving results
  • Adaptable and able to lead through change
  • Excellent planning, organization, and relationship management skills

  • Series 6 and 63
