Compensation Package: Percentage of gross revenue based on the assets under management

Objectives
- Be an integral member of the advisory team and provide financial planning and investment advice to clients ranging in age and wealth
- Take primary responsibility for all aspects of a client relationship, working closely to fully understand the financial situation and requirements
- Monitor market performance to develop and deliver sound investment advice and strategies
- Execute accurate reporting that enables sound analysis and financial recommendations
- Comply with national and local financial regulations by studying existing and proposed legislation
- Continue professional development with classes, workshops, webinars, publications, networks, and associations in order to remain up to date with the fundamentals of financial planning, risk management, and investment management
Responsibilities:
- Business development / prospecting new clients
- Portfolio review / portfolio allocation
- Financial planning
- Client experience and relationship management
- Keeping current with markets, investments, news, social events, managers, products, allocation trends, technology, and anything else that would impact the client
- Teamwork and maintaining a respectful and cohesive environment
Basic Requirements:
- 5+ years of relevant experience as a financial advisor that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position
- A demonstrated track record of consistently meeting and/or exceeding performance expectations
- Possesses a bias for action and avoids workplace distractions
- Drives performance targets to completion
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with Morningstar, Nitrogen, Calendly, and other Financial Services and Planning tools preferred
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business management, accounting, economics, or similar field is preferred. Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 licensure
- Life and Health insurance licenses
- Financial Planning Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial markets, investments, and financial planning principles.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with clients.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze financial data and make informed decisions.
- Sales and Relationship Management Skills: Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and generate new business.
- Professional Certifications: CFP (Certified Financial Planner) or CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) a plus.
- Legal and Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of relevant financial laws and regulations.
