Schedule:  Osaic has returned to the office on a hybrid schedule requiring a minimum of 4 days weekly in the office. Applicants must be willing to work this schedule.

Role Type:     Full time

Salary:         $85,000 - $100,000 per year + annual bonus

Actual compensation offered will be determined individually, based on a number of job-related factors, including location, skills, experience, and education.

Summary:

The Senior Analyst, Mutual Fund and ETF Product Diligence, will oversee Osaic’s Mutual Fund and ETF products, due diligence efforts and champion investment research to our network of 11,000+ independent financial advisors.  The selected individual will provide direction and analytical leadership in the development and implementation of mutual fund and ETF due diligence.  Further, the candidate will have proven ability to network within the industry to leverage diligence capabilities. The Senior Analyst is responsible for all aspects of fund due diligence including initiating new reviews and maintaining ongoing diligence of approved products. The individual must have a strong knowledge of financial markets to fully vet mutual fund products, make recommendations and communicate their viewpoint.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead mutual fund, ETF and product diligence functions, which includes initial and ongoing reviews. 

  • Actively participate on the Product Review Committee and interact with multiple departments across the organization.

  • Interface cross-functionally within the firm to address escalated/sophisticated product requests/issues within the network.

  • Field escalated product requests/inquiries from affiliated reps/OSJs.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field is required, preferably Finance or Business concentration

Basic Requirements:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in mutual fund and ETF products space.

  • FINRA Series 7 license is required.

  • Experience with alternative products required. 

  • Articulate, confident, driven professional with the ability to work with like-minded professionals in a results-oriented, fast-paced and growing environment.

  • Ability to rigorously analyze a product, make recommendations, and then stick to decisions.  Guiding principal is to limit risk and provide best in class product solutions.

  • Individual should have solid investment/analytical capabilities as well as broad knowledge of alternative products and services.

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to see all sides of an issue.

  • Strong understanding of financial markets and market behavior.

  • Solid investment and business acumen.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to establish priorities and meet performance goals in a results-oriented fast-paced environment.

  • Experience in using performance attribution software such as Morningstar Direct.

Preferred Requirements:

  • CFA designation or progress toward CFA is preferred.
