Role Type:     Full time 

 

Salary: $55,000 - $75,000 per year + annual bonus  

  

Actual compensation offered will be determined individually, based on a number of job-related factors, including location, skills, experience, and education.

Summary:  

Osaic is looking to add a Transitions Consultant to its expanding transitions team!   As a valuable member of our team, the Transitions Consultant provides consultative services to new Osaic Representatives and ensures a smooth and efficient transition of their book of business.  Additional responsibilities include conducting On-Site/Virtual meetings, weekly touchpoints with new Financial Professionals; organizing and utilizing project management skills to lead the transition process from start to finish. Educating new Financial Professionals on current business methods and knowledge sharing of Osaic tools designed to assist advisors in growing their practice. Last but certainly not least the Transition Consultant is expected to provide dedicated support and act as a liaison between various departments, such as technology, supervision and Operations and will serve as the primary point of contact for the Financial Professional throughout the transition process. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Conduct On-Site/Virtual consultation meetings with new Financial Professionals and develop a plan for the smooth, efficient transition of business.  
  • Discuss and explain conversion process and set expectations including timelines for various steps and ongoing communications. 
  • Work with Representative to identify accounts that require the completion of various transition paperwork such as New Account Forms, Customer Account Transfers, Change of Dealers, Block Transfers, Fee-based, Licensing/Appointments and any other additional documentation.   
  • Answer questions or concerns related to the transition process and provide immediate consultative guidance.   
  • Proactively identify issues that Representatives may encounter during transition (compliance regulations and procedures, licensing requirements, client communications, etc.).   
  • Consult with new Representatives regarding current business model. 
  • Discuss coordination with internal departments regarding conversion to fee-based services. 
  • Recommend alternative business methods in accordance with our Practice Management tools. 
  • Communicate and explain the various Business Growth programs that could help grow the current business. 
  • Coordinate initial technical sessions for onboarding offices.     
  • Coordinate electronic completion of new accounts and transfer paperwork and identify any problems or issues. 
  • Provide on-going consultative guidance to new Financial Professionals throughout the transition process ensuring that questions are answered, paperwork is received, and the process continues smoothly and in a timely manner. 
  • Perform various duties and projects as assigned by manager.  
  • Network & host receptions for transitioning Offices, Large Enterprises, and various strategic partners. 

 

Education Requirements:  

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, high school diploma (or equivalent) in combination with significant practical experience will be considered in lieu of degree.  Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent is required.   

 

Basic Requirements:  

  • Minimum 3 years’ securities experience required. 
  • Ability to conduct training sessions for Financial Professionals and their office staff. 
  • Ability to explain complex information clearly and concisely. 
  • Ability to determine appropriate plan of action for each unique transition. 
  • Ability to consult, collaborate, and provide recommendations. 
  • Ability to communicate and project a positive, professional attitude with co-workers, customers, and various business contacts in person and over the telephone. 
  • Ability to persuasively present the benefits of Osaic and the transition process to convert a lead into a Representative during home office visits & tech demonstrations.
