Salary: $83,250 - $111,000 per year + annual bonus
Actual compensation offered will be determined individually, based on a number of job-related factors, including location, skills, experience, and education.

Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Trust Officer to join the team within Premier Trust, a member of Osaic. The Senior Trust Officer is responsible for the administration of assigned complex accounts. Our selected candidate will represent the company in business activities and contacts with customers, outside professionals and beneficiaries relating to these accounts. This role is expected to provide leadership, training and support to less experienced trust officers and other staff members. Additionally, the Senior Trust Officer assures compliance with all policies and procedures governing trust functions, as well as all applicable state regulations.
Responsibilities:
Administer accounts in accordance with the terms of the governing instrument and in a manner consistent with the needs of principals, beneficiaries, and remaindermen.
Contact or correspond with individuals, agencies, and organizations that have an interest in any aspect of an account.
Coordinate, review the preparation and filing of federal and state tax returns for trusts.
Submit discretionary requests, both investments and distributions, for committee approval.
Pay trust expenses and maintain client data.
Consult with client’s attorney from administrative perspective on drafting legal documents specifying details, conditions, and duration of trust.
Initiate and/or assist in the marshalling and funding of new accounts.
Interact frequently with co-workers, peers, and functional managers.
Answers telephone and potential corresponding questions and directs callers to proper personnel.
Comply with all applicable company policies, state laws and federal laws and regulations.
Report any customer suspected of suspicious activity immediately to the BSA/Compliance Officer.
Participate in required annual BSA/AML/OFAC and Compliance training.
Follows policies and procedures; completes administrative tasks correctly and on time; supports the company goals and values; benefits the company through outside activities.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree preferred, high school diploma (or equivalent) in combination with six or more years of related experience or equivalent will be considered in lieu of degree. Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Basic Requirements:
Five or more years of related experience in the trust industry and/or training or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Work related experience must consist of Trust Administration experience in the financial services industry. Educational experience, through in-house training sessions, formal school, or financial industry related curriculum, should be business or financial industry related.
Advanced knowledge of related state trust compliance regulations, and other trust operational policies.
Advanced knowledge of trust policies and procedures, and trust products and services.
Must be proficient in utilizing various software packages including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Power Point and Excel.
Previous experience with leading teams and knowledge of human resources laws and policies.
Advanced math skills to calculate interest and balance accounts, but not limited to the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. The incumbent must also possess the ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, including the drafting and interpretation of bar graphs.
Ability to provide leadership, supervision and training for department using positive supervisory techniques to ensure maximum productivity; demonstrated ability in delegation skills.
Advanced oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, interpret documents, understand procedures, write reports and correspondence, speak clearly to customers and employees
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Advanced organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work with no supervision while performing duties.
Current state issued driver’s license and a vehicle with appropriate insurance coverage if required in the course of performing assigned duties and responsibilities.
Ability to mentor and train less experienced staff.
Focus on achieving and rating personal goals and those of subordinates.
